How to work with brush hardness

You do not have to have all your changes to be applied so intensely. You can therefore set the actual intensity of the brush as and when you would like it. This works especially well with the below functions:

  • Clone Stamp tool
  • Blurring tool
  • Dodge tool
  • Spot healing brush
  • Any other tool which is good for correcting things
  • How to edit brush size and intensity:
  • Click on the Brush panel ( this also shows you the actual size and intensity of the brush in small)
  • Use your mouse to enlarge or minimize the brush size under „ size”
  • Use your mouse to drag it to the level of intensity (given in percentage) which you want to reach.
  • Be careful with harsh transitions and therefore set the hardness level to a maximum of 50%
