Garlands can decorate not only Christmas
Some people think garlands are seasonal decorations, but you can do garlands outside of any season or for any season if you do them the right way. Let’s see some good ways to DIY garlands.
- Use ropes and artificial flowers to create a lovely summer or spring garland. There are tons of artificial flowers in any shape and form and you can use any of them if you are armed with a glue gun and make sure the quantity of the glue will not affect the quality.
- Make garlands out of paper feathers. All you need is to print out a couple of lovely feathers, then either color them or print them out already colored and simply tie them to the end of a thinner straight rope. It will make a lovely decoration.
- DIY fruit garlands are fun and they look lovely. All you need for them is a thin rope and some circular fruit shapes which look great even when only half of them show up. The best examples are orange, lemon, lime, kiwi or watermelon. You can get the shapes straight from the internet, but if you feel inspired you can paint or draw them yourself.
- Make sure you fold them all in half punctually so that both their sides look the same.
These garlands can prop up any rooms and they are also perfect for summer parties.
