How to adjust effectively in Clone Tool

It’s hard for cloned areas to look exactly as they should. The issues are normally with the exact shades.

While we suggest you to first clone and then do the adjustments it’s exactly for these reasons. Luckily there is a way to adjust the exact area you want to adjust, not the whole image.

  • Click on Layers for the whole menu to show up
  • Create and adjustment layer specifically for the area you have cloned and now want to adjust
  • Then work with the brightness and saturation functions until the area totally blends in
  • Hold down the Alt key and click at the bottom of the layer. This applies the changes to the below layer only.
